Rebecca Romijn is a talented actress who was born in California on November 6, 1972. She originally worked as a model between 1991 and 2001 before embarking on her acting career in 1997. Rebecca Romijn played the role of Alexis Meade in the hit comedy-drama series ‘Ugly Betty’ from 2007. She did not appear in the fourth and final season of ‘Ugly Betty’. When the series first aired in 2006, the character of Alexis Meade was played by Elizabeth Penn Payne throughout the first season before Rebecca Romijn took over the role. One of the biggest roles that Rebecca Romijn had in the earlier years of her acting career was playing the lead role of Laura Ash/ Lily Watts in ‘Femme Fatale’. 1. The Punisher- Joan
Other than her roles in the ‘X-Men’ series of films, the role for which Rebecca Romijn is probably most famous is for playing Joan in ‘The Punisher’. This was a 2004 action film that is based on the Marvel character of the same name. It was directed by Jonathan Hensleigh who also co-wrote the movie with Michael France. The lead role is played by Thomas Jane and the film also stars John Travolta, Will Patton, Roy Scheider, Laura Harring, and Ben Foster. This movie was made on a budget of $33 million and grossed $54.7 million at the worldwide box office.
