Young and the Restless fans are watching a former love story re-develop, and we all feel that it might not go well. Okay, so that’s cheating a bit. No love story ever goes well around here, so it’s an easy bet to place. However, we saw that Mariah and Tessa didn’t work out before when Tessa was untrustworthy and didn’t exactly make things happen for her the way she thought she might. She backstabbed her and betrayed Mariah, and left her without anything after she gave up so much. She’s been in a bad place ever since, but Tessa has managed to come back into her life and try to weasel her way back into her heart the way she did before. It’s not going to end well for Mariah, and we do find ourselves on the sidelines asking her to make a wise decision. The first time was unexpected. This time, she knows better.
And then we saw all that happened with Hilary and Lilly. They are in bad shape after what happened to them, and their families have no choice but to hope they end up all right. We know that there is no way that Hilary will turn out all right in this situation. We know her actress is leaving the show, and we know things will not work out. But, for now, her family is there to support her. Devon is, of course, devastated. So is Cane, and Neil, and everyone else who loves these two young women. There is nothing short of total tragedy happening right now, and everyone is gathered together to hope for miracles in the lives of these two young mothers and friends. Can they survive this? Can they come out of this stronger and better in the long run? We can’t tell.

Who doesn’t love a good Throwback Thursday? We are so in love with this old school photo from the show so many years ago, and it seems so appropriate it would go up this week. The show shared a photo of the beautiful couple, Nick and Sharon, as they were a long time ago. We are all so happy to see them together again, to see them in the same place they were so many years ago, and to see them with such a bright future ahead of them. We cannot wait to see them get their situation under control and really thrive! And how cute were they? And…do they age? Ever?

Devon’s heart breaks when he gets some upsetting news today. He can’t handle a lot more going on in his life that he cannot control, and this might just be past his prime. He might not be able to handle what’s coming at him right now, and we don’t blame him. But we also know that there is a lot more going on than we thought possible in a new moment. There is something that will make everyone turn around and feel stressed about so many things. For one, we know that Jack is now in the middle of doing something that might change some lives. He is not playing games anymore, and we hear that his alliance is with Nick at th
is point. They are on the wall about what they are doing, and it’s amazing.
Sharon, of course, is worried about Nick. She feels he is not himself, and that’s stressing her out. Well, she’s right. He’s actually running around in the shadows pretending to be JT so that he can torture his father and get what he wants from him. He’s in the middle of big things right now, and he doesn’t have a lot more time to focus on them. It’s his feeling that if he can get Victor to fall and things to crumble around him, things will improve for Nick and his family. He’s so mistaken, though, and we all know that. He knows that this is not what will happen with Victor. It never does. Somehow, Victor always wins these small wars.
