Seychelle Gabriel looks like she might still be pretty young in this picture but she’s in her late twenties at this point. To date she’s had a fairly busy career and has made the most of it so far by starring alongside some very influential people. If you don’t recognize her don’t feel too bad since memorizing every face in Hollywood is kind of tough unless you’re completely dedicated to it and find it that interesting. Seychelle has been in a few noted movies and TV shows but to date hasn’t landed that one role that could really make her a megastar yet. There’s a lot of hope and possibility however since she’s still pretty young and has a lot of time in which to start landing the kind of roles that could take her career to a record high that could help her out and gain the kind of exposure that most actors work a lifetime for.

10. Her mom helped her get into acting.
Her mother is responsible for casting extras for commercials and videos so she managed to take advantage of this and find a way into show business through doing small projects that would eventually get her noticed.
9. She was in The Last Airbender.
She played the part of Princess Yue, and despite her role the movie was kind of a flop simply because it didn’t seem to explain enough and went into the action and the story without a lot of development on the part of the characters or the conflict. In truth the movie was too much like a comic book without the story lines.
8. She’s been featured on the show Weeds.
Weeds is the kind of show that people tend to watch when they want something tragic and at the same time touching since it seemed to have all that and the comedic aspect at once. It was a pretty good show to be honest, but it’s something a person really needs to be into.
7. Her filmography is pretty modest.
She hasn’t done an overwhelming amount of stuff in her time but she’s done enough to call it a decent career. It almost seems as though she’s been laying low and taking the parts she feels are right for her rather than taking anything and everything that comes her way just to gain the kind of reputation she wants. That seems like a wise move but it could also be that she’s waiting for the parts that will elevate her career, which is also wise.
6. She started acting in 2007.
Seychelle is one among the groups of younger actors that came in from the 2000 to 2010 period when people were flocking to Hollywood to try their luck and see if they had what it takes to be a big star. A lot of them seem to have found their niche in one way or another while a lot more probably haven’t done so well. Thankfully she’s one of the former that has found her way into the fans’ good graces.
5. She has a modest following on Twitter.
She has around 24 thousand followers on Twitter which is not huge but it’s nothing to scoff at either. Gaining all those followers doesn’t necessarily mean much except that she has a whole lot of fans that are interested in her career and want to see if she goes somewhere with it.
4. Her first TV role was Nickelodeon.
A lot of the stars from her generation seem to have started one network or another that has seen a lot of kids pass through before they made their way into the spotlight and onto the big screen. In some ways Disney and Nickelodeon seem like the ideal spot for a lot of young actors to start.
3. She’s big into music as well.
She enjoys playing the guitar, the harmonica, and enjoys using her voice as well. Seychelle definitely has a lot of talents to her and that’s what it seems to take in the industry at this time. If you can do more than act then you’ve at least got a chance of keeping a foothold in Hollywood.
2. She was three weeks old when she appeared in the Wonder Years.
So technically this is her first TV appearance but she wasn’t aware of it so it’s not for sure if it really counts. She was held by Fred Savage during an episode and that was about it. As beginnings to a career go however that could be seen as highly prophetic.

Seychelle has definitely done her due diligence when it comes to building her career. She’s not standing around waiting for recognition, she’s going out and getting it as much as she can. You’ve got to admire that spirit.
She might be one to watch in the coming years.
