General Hospital fans love to love Sam. She’s been around since 2003, and her marriages have been the most fun. She’s had a lot happen to her over the years, and many of the things she’s gone through are unthinkable to the regular person of the world. She’s currently married to Drew Cain, but she’s been ‘married’ to him for years ever since her husband Jason Morgan went missing, showed up with a different face and then passed a DNA test to confirm he was Jason, but he really wasn’t Jason. He was his twin brother brainwashed into thinking he was Jason and taking all his memories. It’s been terrifyingly ugly since Jason showed up after being captive for so long, and it left her with a heavy decision. She’d been with Drew thinking he was Jason for so many years that she chose to divorce the real Jason and marry Drew. But we don’t think it was the right choice.
Jason and Sam
They’ve been together forever and a day. It all began when she showed up in town and had an affair with Sonny Corinthos behind his wife’s back. She was pregnant, and Jason — Sonny’s very best friend — decided he would pretend he was the one sleeping with her who got her pregnant so that Sonny’s life and family could stay together. They didn’t want anyone to find out this baby was Sonny’s or that she was sleeping with him. They pretended it was their baby, but she was stillborn. Jason was heartbroken for Sam, and they developed a real friendship and bond. Then he fell for her. Then they went through everything in the world, and then they got married. Of course, a few other things happened in between that situation with them and other people, but you know what happened.
When he went missing after being shot, it was horrible for her. He was gone for a long time, and she got engaged to another man. She also made friends with a man who was in a terrible accident and needed surgery to reconstruct his entire face. He had no idea who he was, and then he realized he is Jason. They did DNA tests, and it was true. She fell back in love, ended her engagement, and they went about their marriage very happily.
Drew and Sam
For the longest time, Drew was Jason and neither knew. When the real Jason showed up and told them all that Drew as his twin brother who was brainwashed to believe he was Jason, she chose Drew. But she was married to Drew only because she thought he was Jason when he showed up so many years ago. She made the decision to stay with him, but we think it was a mistake. He is not Jason, and that is her person. Now they are going through a very difficult time as a result, and we aren’t sure they can get past this. It’s awful for them, but we think that they are going to have a chance to get to know what’s going on as he learns more about himself.
Drew loves Sam, but he has to find out who he is. And she has to decide what she wants. Clearly, she wants Jason and he is the man for her. Fans want to see them together, and we like Drew. But we love Sam and Jason. We want to see this kind of reunion happen. It’s what makes our hearts beat in a way we cannot even describe to fans who know this.
