General Hospital fans will quickly realize that Michael is not the only man leaving his dinner with his brother. His brother will get a call, too. He has to take off and make an arrest and do some work. He has very little choice in the matter, and it all seems like he has to get his own life in order to handle what is coming his way. You see, Dante has to go and make an arrest that won’t prove easy. In fact, it will probably be one of the most difficult things he’s ever had to do.
He has to arrest Carly. You see, Nelle is going to tell the police that her fall was not an accident. She will tell the police that Carly pushed her down and is the reason she is now in the hospital and in trouble. She’s horrified. She is beside herself in every manner. She is not happy that this is happening. She is horrified, upset, and very much in a bad place as it stands. She is not going to handle this well, and we predict that there is nothing that Dante can do to make this easier on her.
He will arrest her, call his father, and let him know. Sonny will immediately know that Nelle is a liar and that Carly would never push her down carrying her grandchild or otherwise. But he will also wonder if there is a chance that Carly did do this considering how much she’s struggled as of late. She has not been herself in terms of her mental health. And that’s not a big surprise. Nelle has been making it seem that her own dead son has come back from the grave to haunt her and make her life miserable.
Sonny knows that Nelle is a liar, but that small part of him does wonder. And that’s bad news because it means Nelle’s plan is actually working. Sonny has a line to tug now, though, and he will do anything he can to prove she did not do this — and this might be the beginning of the end for Nelle.
