General Hospital fans are aware things will never work for Sonny if he doesn’t figure things out. He’s got an issue right now — surprising, right? — that he’s going to skirt. We don’t know why he’s trying to minimize what is going on in this particular situation, but he will try to make sure it seems like less of a big deal than it is. We assume he’s one of two things. He is either completely distracted by the fact that he has to figure out what is going on with Carly, or he is not going to make a big deal of this because he already has a good plan in place.
All we know is that the issue will arise and he will do nothing more than really just brush it off and play it down. It’s not really who he is as a person, and this will surprise more people than not. And now he has a chance to see if he can make something work in his own favor.
At the moment, however, this is an issue he will ignore. Sonny will, for one of the first times in his life, not make a big deal of something that is a big deal. He will continue to move on with his life and see if he can change the way things are going for him, and he will go out of his way to see if he can make this issue resolve itself.
