Khloe Kardashian has been unstoppable lately amid all her relationship troubles. Her show Revenge Body is now on its second season. She’s still on at Keeping Up With the Kardashians. She still has the business with her sisters. It’s endless. That’s all punctuated by the birth of her baby girl–something we all know she’s been wanting for a while now. Khloe’s latest pursuit, however, is along the lines of true crime drama.
Khloe has teamed up with Investigation Discovery for her next venture on TV. This time, it’s not going to be anything like the reality TV that we’ve seen her in. Khloe is looking to produce a show about killer sisters–ones who try to literally kill other people and maybe even each other. The show has a working title, Twisted Sister, and we promise that it’s not about the Kardashian sisters at all, at least we hope not.
According to the recent mom, there’s no better way to tell the stories a troubled sisterhood and the bond the keeps them together and drives them apart than through the lenses of a crime drama. Khloe proclaims herself to be a true crime addict, but we’re not entirely sure which shows she’s really into apart from Netflix’s Making A Murderer.
Investigation Discovery considers Khloe an expert on sisters. There’s a lot of truth in that, especially since Khloe’s family and her sisters have been on national TV since 2007. That’s more than a decade ago. We’ve seen her and her sisters experience life and grow up. We’ve seen them tackle troubling situations and we’ve also seen them bully up their dreams until they got it. We’ve seen the Kardashian sisters fall in and out of love and go through it all, but at the very end, they’re still as tight as ever–regardless of what happens between them.
That’s the true brand of sisterhood that we’ll probably see on Twisted Sister, except it’ll be in murder-mystery fashion. Each episode will be an hour long and will look into various crimes committed by sisters. At times, these crimes are even targeted against each other. The show will also include interviews of family members and whatever law enforcement were involved. It sounds addicting already just by these descriptions, but we know we’re in good hands with Khloe and her co-executive producer Stephanie Noonan Drachkovitch of 44 Blue Productions. Some of Drachkovitch’s previous EP credits include My Flipping Family, Family Court with Judge Penny, and Married to the Army: Alaska.
No one from the family has responded to this news yet. Perhaps they’re all still gushing over Khloe’s new baby to even be bothered. The show is expected to premiere in 2019 and will feature six episodes. Each episode will focus on different sets of criminal sisters and the crimes they have committed. There are no further news regarding the expansion of the series, but for now we’ll take what we can get.
