The Bold and the Beautiful fans are watching Bill make offers to Wyatt and threats to Liam. Liam is not being given an offer to leave Steffy and pick Hope. He’s being told to do it or else. Or else his father will turn him in for being the man who shot him recently, and that will send him to prison. Liam doesn’t want to go to prison, so he will do what his father says. He and Steffy weren’t together, anyway, but any thought he might have had of being with her is now being taken from him. His father is demanding he go start a relationship with Hope, hurt Steffy, and leave her alone.
Liam can do this or he can go to jail. It’s his choice. If he leaves Steffy to be with Hope, he’s doing it with the understanding that his father will continue to approach Steffy with an engagement idea so that he can be with her. He also gets to be a father to his baby with Steffy.
He wants that baby more than anything, and going to jail is not going to allow him to be happy. He will tell his son that Hope and Liam are unfinished business and that he can make Steffy far happier than Liam can make her. So that means that Liam gets his freedom, but he has to watch his wife start a future with his father and the baby that he is having with her now.
