What you need to know about Marcia Clark Investigates the first 48 is that it’s a new original docuseries on A&E and it goes into the most shocking crimes ever seen in America in order to try and highlight them and possibly bring a bit of closure to the unsolved or controversial outcomes. Every episode is about two hours long and will take on a specific case to examine the first 48 hours following a crime to see whether there are any different angles or methods that can be used in order to uncover the truth behind the said mysteries. Marcia Clark is a former defense attorney and current expert prosecutor that will be attempting to unravel the mysteries behind these old cases in order to try and solve them to bring an end to the unknown.
The show won’t hold back and will be taking such cases as the death of Casey Anthony’s daughter Caylee, the murder of Bonny Lee Bakley, the disappearance of Drew Peterson’s wife Stacy, and many other cases that are considered high profile but were either never solved or were met with decisions that were highly suspect to many looking on. There’s going to be no flinching at the cases as they’re brought forth for further inspection, but don’t be looking for Clark to solve them all. On thing however to tell anyone and everyone is that this is a show, and no matter what is found it will likely be more theory than anything.
A lot of us have seen and heard by now that the first 48 hours after a crime are the most crucial to solving it. With the technology we have at our disposal now and the methods that have been in use now for years however it’s still very possible that something could be found after that short span of time. But years after the crimes have happened there’s no telling what Clark is going to find, or if it will be completely valid. Just keep that in mind when you watch and enjoy the show.
