General Hospital fans know that Laura isn’t around as much as she was. When contracts were recently negotiated, she was not cast as a regular character. She was downgraded to someone who only needed to show up and be around on an occasional basis, but we hear that this might be changing soon. We hear she might be coming back as a series regular, and she has a new story line in the works. We know she wanted to be mayor and that didn’t work out for her, so what might it be?
She’s been on the boring line lately, and that’s what the writers seem to have wanted. She did, however, spend decades working on some of the most exciting story lines in the business, so she’s had her time. Could she be coming back for another round with something so exciting and so crazy we can’t even stand it?
Or is she merely back so we can see her face a bit more than we have been lately? There is a chance we can find this out in the next few weeks as that is when we hear this storyline is going to change. We know that there is a lot to do here, a lot to be done here, and a lot going on, but we don’t need to wait much longer before it all comes out and there is a line we haven’t seen coming. Can we get to that now, or do we need to wait longer?
