Puppy Discovering Snow for the First Time is Instant Happiness

It’d be nice to think that anyone could be as excited as this puppy discovering snow for the first time. If you needed a boost of instant happiness added to your day then here you go, as this is just too cute to pass up on. Dogs are such wonderful animals in that they get excited about just anything at times when other people might see something mundane and kind of boring. Dogs are there to make it less boring and perk it up with their exuberant reactions. Puppies are even better at it since to them a lot of stuff is still new and exciting.

It’s like watching a child of any species learn about something new. It might be scary, it might be exciting, or it might be a reason to just trip out and go nuts for a little while in an attempt to understand something or just play with it until their legs give out from the exertion. Dogs are simply too much fun to watch since they’ll get excited about so much stuff. With dogs you could toss a ball across the floor and if they’re up for it they’ll go and chase it. You can take them outside to their own yard that they’ve seen dozens of times and they’ll still sniff for scents and oddities that might have changed since the last time they were out. And in the snow it’s even more fun with puppies that have never seen it since some of them will go absolutely crazy biting at snowflakes as they continue to fall. Watching a dog at play is highly therapeutic and can take a lot of stress off the mind and heart after only a few minutes of watching them frolic.

That could be why having pets is seen as such a positive thing for so many people since their very presence can lift you out of a bad mood and make you realize that there are other things to be thinking about besides how bad your day was or how depressed you might feel. Dogs especially are great since more often than not they’re happy to see you and will shower you with affection the moment you walk in the door. Cats and other pets might do this as well if they really care about their owners, but dogs are one of the only animals that are known to do this on a regular basis. They’re among the only animals to really just have fun whenever it seems like a good idea to them and will go hog wild while trying to just play. The older dogs get the less likely it is that they’ll continue to be so playful, but as puppies they’re so filled with energy that getting them to slow down isn’t always possible. Thankfully though most dogs love to go outside and will gladly make their way into a snowy afternoon where they can romp around and bite at the falling snow.

Sometimes it seems that the lives of dogs are so wonderfully simple.
