Jillian Jacqueline is a country music singer who has been getting a fair amount of attention in recent times. For proof, look no further than the fact that she received a write-up in Rolling Stone as one of the new country music singers that people should keep an eye on. Furthermore, it is worth noting that she has just had an appearance on Seth Meyers’s late-night show, where she had the chance to perform one of her latest releases called “Reasons.”
Here are five things that you may or may not have known about Jillian Jacqueline:
Started Singing At a Young Age
Jacqueline grew up listening to musicians such as Elvis Presley and James Taylor. As a result, it should come as no surprise to learn that she started singing at a young age. For example, Jacqueline started singing in coffee shops when she was no more than seven years old. Furthermore, Jacqueline recorded her first album through the use of a home studio when she was no more than eight years old.
Used to Be in a Band
At one point in time, Jacqueline was in a band. To be exact, she was in a band with her sisters, who also share her passion for music. Together, the group was called The Little Women Band, which actually got the chance to go on tour. However, Jacqueline’s time with the band came to an end when she decided to leave so that she could go to school at Philadelphia University.
Toured with Kenny Rogers
Speaking of which, it is worth noting that Jacqueline has gone on tour with Kenny Rogers as well, which should be familiar to a lot of people out there as one of the most successful multi-genre singers and songwriters out there. This happened because Jacqueline was cast in a Broadway production called Christmas From the Heart, which ran for a period of three months. After which, she got the chance to go on tour with Rogers for a few years, which was an impressive feat to say the least.
Has Released “Prime”
One of the songs that Jacqueline has released is called “Prime.” Said song is interesting in that it serves as an excellent example of how Jacqueline is representative of a new trend in country music. which is more willing to experiment than the music that preceded it. Regardless, “Prime” is as its name suggests, about how everyone should live their lives to the fullest no matter what age they might be. In a real sense, it shows a fair amount of Jacqueline’s innate optimism, which is an interesting contrast with the stereotypical image of country music.
Has Released “Reasons”
Another song is “Reasons.” This one is about someone who is at last prepared to put an end to a relationship that has reached its natural conclusion instead of continuing to drag it out. Perhaps unsurprisingly, “Reasons” is like a lot of songs of this kind in that it is based on Jacqueline’s own personal experiences.
