The Top Five Kevin Kline Yelling Scenes in Movies

Kevin Kline is kind of the odd yeller that can get really loud and then go right back to his normal voice as though nothing just happened. But from the look on his face you’ll know that he’s up to something, as though another yell is just about to peek around the bend or he’s at least warning you that it could. That twinkle in his eye never really goes away and it makes for a great actor since he always makes you wonder just what he’s thinking and what he’s about to do. That could be why his yells are so great. Or it could be that he knows how to project his voice in such a manner that you feel the need to sit back and say ‘wow’.

Either way, he deserves to be included in this kind of list.

5. Soap Dish

As an aging soap star forced to do dinner theater to make a living it seems like he’d be at the bottom of the barrel as far as acting goes. Does anyone even do dinner theater any longer? If they do I kind of think this would be the worst cast scenario since a lot of folks tend to have a lot more respect for actors and their craft. At least you would think they would.

4. Last Vegas

Even the quiet and unassuming guys in the group can have a loud voice when they really need it. He doesn’t raise his voice all that much in this film but when he does it’s for a good reason before he goes back to a normal volume. After all you only live once and when you’re in what people call the golden years then you might want to live it up as much as possible.

3. Wild West

It’s kind of amazing to think of how much he’s aged since this ill-advised film was shot as opposed to now but he definitely had a lot more energy and verve to him. Plus he still had a fairly youthful look that has been declining lately and making him look far wiser and mature as he gets older. Here though he was just another guy with a temper, albeit with an intellect to balance it out.

2. In & Out

Yes, being called gay would still come as quite a shock to a town in which a person that’s known to so many has been generally thought to be just like everyone else for years. When the truth finally comes out though the solidarity that is eventually felt is something that you wouldn’t believe unless you saw it, since that kind of unity is nothing short of breathtaking.

1. A Fish Called Wanda

He’s a straight up jerk in this movie. Otto is about the worst type of person you can imagine and yet for all intents and purposes he’s just playing his part. As a severe anglophobe, basically someone that hates and/or fears the English, he’s one of the last people that should be pulling a heist IN ENGLAND.

At the very least Kevin Kline is a very playful yeller.
