One Tree Hill is a show most of us have at least heard about if not watched. It premiered on the WB from 2003 to 2006 and continued on CW from 2006 to 2012. Much of the show’s success can be thanked to the showrunner Mark Schwahn. He was known for keeping the cast on toes and ensuring that they executed their roles with utmost perfection. Although most of us know him because of One tree hill, Mark Schwahn also runs several other shows which are doing pretty well. For instance, he is the man behind The Royals which runs on E and is almost in its fourth season. Also, Mark was the runner of Shelter on CW, although it was not quite successful and even helped co-create the Spy School for girls. Apart from shows, he is also a screenwriter and has chipped in on several movies such as the Perfect score, Coach Carter among many others.

Although he is quite an expert when it comes to keeping his personal life extremely private, our paparazzi nature found out that he is married to a woman named Diana. Has been accused of sexual harassment
Recently, many actresses have come out in large numbers claiming sexual harassment from their showrunners and Mark Schwahn has also been caught up in this wave after several female members of the one Tree Hill cast came out and cried harassment. In a letter sent to support Audrey Wauchope who was the first one to come out, Hillary Burton and several other female cast members claimed that most of them are still recovering psychologically and that Schwahn’s harassment was an open secret. No one was willing to come out because they were afraid they would lose their role.

Mark is fully North American and was born and brought up in Pontiac Illinois. Also, he studied at the famous University of Maryland. He is quite an oldie as he was born in July 1966.
