Young and the Restless fans aren’t surprised that Nick is going to be feeling really bad about the fire at the Underground. He has a big problem to face, and it’s not something that he can handle. He’s got to face the fact that he is going to deal with the situation at hand, and he has to face that he has to deal with the knowledge that he is the one who put not only his business but a bunch of kids at risk when he walked into that business and began absentmindedly lighting matches to ease his frustration.
If something happens to one of Lily’s kids or even his own nephew, Reed, the son of his sister, Victoria, he will be devastated. It’s bad enough to be the person who accidentally started the fire that is going to wreak havoc on his business, but it’s even worse to handle the knowledge you are responsible for the injuries or potential death of a child.
Will someone die in this fire? Will it be one of the kids, or will it be an adult who goes in to try and safe the kids. Since they were hiding out in there, will anyone even recognize that they were in there and know that their lives are in danger? There are so many unanswered questions about this, and we don’t know where to go from here. We suspect there might be a death, but we don’t know for certain. And we don’t know who can change all of this.
