Lysette Anthony is an English actress and model who was born in London on September 26, 1963. She is well-known for her many television and film roles. Some of her better-known movies include the Woody Allen film ‘Husbands& Wives’, ‘Look Who’s Talking Now’, and ‘Tale of the Mummy’. She is Currently playing Marnie Nightingale in the British television series ‘Hollyoaks’. Lysette Anthony has recently come to media attention after she made claims that she was raped by Harvey Weinstein during the 1980s. She alleges that the former Miramax boss attacked her in her London home, although a representative has said that Mr. Weinstein unequivocally denies the claims. Anthony has stated that she felt embarrassed and disgusted by the revolting and pathetic attack.

Lysette Anthony has got her acting talents from her parents. Her mother is the actress Bernadette Mills and her father is the actor Michael Adam Anthony from New Jersey. Anthony’s parents divorced and she lived with her mother. She had a difficult childhood as her mother suffered from mental illnesses.
2. She is Involved in Charity Work
Lysette Anthony supports many charities during her spare time and is particularly interested in offering her support for charities related to mental illness and rheumatism. He mother suffered from manic depression and schizophrenia and this made Lysette Anthony determined to raise awareness of mental illnesses. Anthony has a son with composer Simon Boswell. Their son was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis in 2008 and this inspired Anthony to raise funds for research.
3. She Has Appeared in Music Videos

Anthony began her acting career at an early age. In fact, her very first acting job was in the television series ‘Crossroads’ in 1964 when she was just a baby. She made her first stage appearance at the age of 10 at the Cambridge Theatre. From the age of 14, she performed with the National Youth Theatre. She started modeling at just 16 and was even described by photographer David Bailey as being the ‘face of the 80s’. By the age of 19, she had her first adult television role as Lady Rowena in the television movie ‘Ivanhoe’.
5. She posed nude to change her reputation
In the early days of her career, Lysette Anthony had gained a reputation for being an English rose. She did not want to become stereotyped so she took action to change people’s view of her and to make herself more appealing to casting directors in Hollywood. In 1988, she decided to pose nude for Playboy and this is not the only time she has appeared nude. She has appeared nude in the 1994 erotic thriller ‘Save Me’ and the 1993 film ‘The Advocate’.
