General Hospital fans are more than a little surprised just how much Maxie and Amy have in common. They both care for Nathan, of course, but only one of them is married to him. That would be Maxie, but it doesn’t seem to matter to Amy. She began her friendship with this man while his wife was working away from home and not with him, and she’s been very open about how much she hates his wife. They were enemies in high school, and Amy opened up about how much Maxie hurt her.
She was her bully, and Amy has carried that with her for a lifetime. She’s not happy about the way things have gone for her in the past few years, and she’s managed to make things happen for herself. She also managed to get Nathan to think differently of his wife for some time, and she managed to get his wife to change her mind about how she felt for him.
And that’s not all. Now Amy and Maxie are friends. They’re bonding with one another, and it’s not something Nathan seems to appreciate. There might have been a time when he wanted to see that happen, but it turns out that time is over and things have changed. He’s upset with his wife since she is the one who outed him to get herself a job and get her husband to stop — and this might not be good for them.
