It’s not even up for debate that Lecter is one of the most menacing movie villains of all time. And he achieved that mostly with his naturally evil look and menacing glare. P.S. don’t count out Mils Mikkelsen either.
Christopher Walken
Christopher Walken is one of the creepiest people in film without even trying. I’m not sure what it is about him. The crooked smile? The beady eyes? His frail figure? I can’t pinpoint it I just know this guy creeps me out. Definitely a face you don’t want to see in your nightmares. Still though, he’s equally as awesome as he is scary.
Tony Todd
You might not know the name, but you undoubtedly know the face. Tony Todd secured his place in pop culture by taking on the role of one of the most terrifying characters in horror movie history. Candyman. 20 years after the release of this film Tony Todd’s evil glare still has children terrified to look in the mirror and utter the words “Candyman. Candyman. Candyman.” He followed the success of Candyman up with creepy roles in “Final Destination” where he played a naturally terrifying mortician that understood deaths design. Just take a look at his filmography, and you’ll see a plethora of roles where his primary job was to look evil. You definitely succeeded Tony.
John Malkovich
John Malkovich is a multifaceted actor… But that doesn’t mean he isn’t creepy when he needs to be. From his role in “Being John Malkovich” to “Dangerous Liaisons” and “In the Line of Fire.” The guy just has an evil face that translates well his characters sinister intent on screen.
Will Poulter
If you wanted to place a picture next to the word sociopath in the dictionary, Will Poulter would be a perfect fit. Something about this young actors mug says “I’m up to no good and if you tell anybody I’ll kill you.” Plain and simple, the English actor has a dark and sinister look that’s unshakable.
