I’m not sure why I’ve never seen this death scene before considering that the video has over 2 million views but I’m glad I came across it today. You know how tons of Indian movies go way way overboard with their action movies and action stars? The slow motion seems to be slower and longer. The reactions from actors when they get hit or do the hitting seems to be 10 times what we portray in the U.S., and even the music is more animated.
I bring up Indian movies because as crazy as they are and as over the top some of the action scenes can be, I don’t think I’ve ever seen a death scene as overly dramatic and pathetic as this one. Kareteci Kiz (English: “Karate Girl”) is a 1973 Turkish film.Directed by Orhan Aksoy, the cast includes popular Turkish actress Filiz Akın, and actor Ediz Hun. I’d like to congratulate this movie on having easily the best (and worst) death scene of all-time.
Plus it’s also worth noting that this guy looks an awful lot like Rowan Atkinson AKA Mr. Bean. Check out the clip below:
