There are plenty of personalities out there known for their ranting skills. Lewis Black is probably one of the best known. Turns out my favorite ranter is yet another alum of The Daily Show. John Oliver has become hands down one of the best ranters in the world. Using his platform Last Week Tonight, Oliver’s developed a huge following of people who love to listen to his 20-25 minute diatribes about whatever it is that’s bothering him during the week.
For the last few months much of these rants have been focused on Donald Trump. Last night Oliver decided to tackle an issue that’s been entirely perplexing to just about anyone outside of the coal industry. Donald Trump’s repeatedly made promises to coal miners to protect them as well as the industry itself despite its environmental consequences.
Oliver’s officially had enough and he decided to take 24 minutes out of his time to pay massive attention to it. I highly suggest you watch this if you have the time.
