DuckTales Gets Opening Credits Sequence with New Theme Song and Premiere Date

I think it goes without saying that one of the fondest memories of the show DuckTales was its theme song.  I mean the mere mention of the song has you saying “DuckTales a woo ooh!” right now doesn’t it?  So when I first found out that the show has a new main title I got pretty pissed off.   Turns out it’s just a more modernized version of the song which frankly I don’t have a huge problem with.  We also have word on a premiere date for the high anticipated return of the show which is set to be on Disney XD.

EW reports the new series will begin with airing a one-hour TV movie on August 12, beginning at midnight. Then the show will officially launch with two new episodes on September 23 on Disney XD, VOD, and the network’s app.

DuckTales features the voices of David Tennant, Danny Pudi, Ben Schwartz, Bobby Moynihan, Kate Micucci, Beck Bennett, Toks Olagundoye, Tony Anselmo, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Allison Janney, Margo Martindale, Paul F. Tompkins, Kimiko Glenn, Jim Rash, Josh Brener, Keith Ferguson, Eric Bauza, and Corey Burton.

You can check out the new song below as well as a new posted that Disney released.
