Days of Our Lives fans know things aren’t always what they seem when it comes to Steve. He’s got a sordid past and some very interesting history because of his job and all he does for a living, and things aren’t going to work out for him at the moment. He’s got no idea he needs to keep Kayla safe from his own son — and he’s learning that his sister is in a lot of trouble thanks to someone from a long time ago.
Steve is recently of the knowledge that Adrienne is in trouble, and he’s working on her case. He’s learned someone from her past is back and wants revenge on something, and it’s up to him to figure out what that is, what it means, and how they can get things back on track for themselves. He will do anything to protect his sister, but at what cost might this come for his wife?
Tripp still mistakenly believes it’s Kayla that Steve is covering for. He thinks she killed his mother in a fit of jealousy and rage, but it was Joey — his half-brother who did it. Now he has a plan to take her down, and Steve is very much distracted by what he’s learned about his sister, which only makes things easier on Tripp. Will Kayla make it out alive from all of this, or will Steve be too distracted to notice she’s in trouble or that anything is going on that shouldn’t be going on?
