General Hospital fans know today is the day that the Nurses’ Ball is kicking off. It’s the biggest day of the year, and everyone is always so excited about all it has to bring with it. It’s a good day for everyone, and everyone wants a piece of it when they finally get their invite in the mail. Today begins the festivities, and everyone is excited. Well, except for those who are nervous something terrible is going to happen — and they are right about that. No one has a clue that a seemingly innocent little boy performing a magic trick at the ball is actually doing something evil and awful at the instruction of the deceased Helena Cassadine. No one knows little Jake Webber has a vial of the Chimera Toxin that he’s going to release into the crowd putting everyone at risk — and it might be too late.
We don’t know what they are or how it will go down, but we know that the most important thing we will learn this week has everything to do with Jake’s past. He was thought dead for four very long years before he was found at the Cassadine Island resort as a prisoner of Helena. With four long years to brainwash this small child, she was able to do things to his mind to make sure he was never right. It’s been a long road for his parents, but they want to help him. They have no idea what he is up to, and they don’t know he has a plan like this.
As the days pass, we will learn more about what happened when he was the prisoner of Helena Cassadine on the island. We will learn what she did to brainwash him, what she said to him, and what she has done to get him to do such a terrible thing even though she is now dead. The answers his family has been looking for are coming this week, and we cannot wait to find out what the secrets this small boy is hiding might be. They are just going to be good.
