General Hospital Spoilers: Maxie and Nathan’s Marriage is In Trouble

General Hospital fans want to know what is going on with Maxie and Nathan. We all know that the actress who plays Maxie is out of commission for a while and taking a leave of absence from the show. Her character is currently traveling for work, and she’s doing just fine as far as we know. The only problem we have is that she is a newlywed whose husband was gone for some time right after they tied the knot. Now they are separated again at the very beginning of their marriage, and we cannot help but wonder if there might be a bit of an issue at hand. Is there going to be a little problem in this paradise?

The answer is yes. We have reason to believe that Maxie and Nathan’s marriage is about to go through some serious business. We hear that Nathan is all kinds of lonely at the moment, and this means he’s looking into finding love in all the wrong places. What does that mean? It means he’s looking for love, but it’s not finding him in any specific location with his wife. He’s finding a new love interest at the hospital, and it’s not going to go over well with fans when he meets a nurse and finds himself more than a little interested in her.

His wife won’t be back soon because of her work obligations, and he’s not handling her news very well. When she informs him she’s not coming back anytime in the near future thanks to her new job, he’s forced to make a decision he shouldn’t allow himself to make. There is a new problem for him as he finds out that Nina’s husband is cheating on him, and he is going to make that his own business. But ultimately, he’s got the Nurse’s Ball to work on in the meantime. He’s going to work closely with a nurse named Amy, and he’s going to find he really seems to like her. But how far will this go? We hear that she’s going to tell Nathan that Maxie was her high school bully, and Nathan will begin to fall for her. Uh-oh. This is not going to end well.
