General Hospital fans might want to see a second go for Jax and Carly, especially since they’ve been heating up the screen so much in the past few days, but get ready for some bad news fans. It turns out these two won’t be a couple for much longer. Their undying love for one another from so long ago must actually be dead, because Jax is going to stick around for a few more episodes and then he is out. Rumor has it he was only on the set of his hit soap for a few weeks to film a couple of shows and that’s all. He’s not interested in permanently reprising his role as Jax, and he’s not going to do it. This means a few things.
One, Carly is now truly and really alone. If she was just using her anger at Sonny as a reason to spend some quality time with Jax, she’s lost her opportunity. She had it, now she doesn’t, and it looks like things might be turning out poorly for her. Now her husband is meeting another woman and finding himself interesting in a mystery woman as he files for a divorce from Carly, and it appears that he’s going to spend his time working on a new relationship rather than working on things with his angry wife.
So this mean Sonny has a love interest and Carly is left all alone. Can she handle this, or will this be another moment in which this couple seems to miss one another? Sonny has been begging his wife to love him again for the past few months, and she’s resisted. She has Jax and she’s moved on. Now he’s going to leave, Sonny will meet someone else, and she might want to have him back at that point. Is this where things are going for these two now? Will there be another opportunity for them to fall back in love with one another, or are those days long gone?
