I’ve decided that after reading about Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s tax evasion that a new, mandatory position be required on the sets of all reality shows: “life management services.” Right now Sorrentino faces some serious charges and may actually go to jail for a number of years. Is this his own fault? Of course it is but here’s the thing: some people were never meant to be famous. And some people were perhaps never meant to be rich. I don’t mean that as an insult but without proper guidance and education, a guy like Mike Sorrentino is going to fail financially 99% of the time if handed millions of dollars after coming from practically nothing.
This is why I believe nearly every reality show needs an on site therapist for mandatory sessions. Every reality star needs some kind of life coach. It’s the same thing with sports. There’s no one there to guide young NFL players on how to manage their money. There’s no one there to help them deal with the tons of drama that winds up corroding their lives. If famous and wealthy people had a team of people in their lives to attend to these types of situations and give guidance, the transition to celebrity and wealth would be a much easier one.
So remember folks, the company that owns this site is much more than just a media company. Uncoached Corp helps to manage lives and prepare you for anything. Boy do I really need some kind of infomercial here. I feel like the lawfirm of Cellino and Barnes. Now I just need a catch jingle.
In all seriousness though, I really do believe that reality shows need someone like this on set.
