If you have any kind of musical ear then you will appreciate this mashup more than most. Typically when two songs are mixed together it’s almost for the “hell of it.” What I mean is, not that much thought goes into the rhythm, tone, actual melodies of songs. We just want to see what it’s like to mix two songs. And that’s perfectly fine and in most instances, entertaining. However, for all you music lovers out there I think you’ll find this mashup to be a step above the rest.
Who knew that Smash Mouth’s “All-Star” and Eminem’s “My Name is” would sync so beautifully together but they totally do. Honestly this song could have easily been a hit in its own right. And let’s just face it, “All-Star” is one of the most fun songs in the entire universe. There’s just no way you can deny it. There’s a reason it’s still played to this day. It’s the kind of song that instantly puts you in a good mood. Add a little bit of Eminem’s rap skills and you have a great great new song.
