I have to admit it’s been a very long time since I’ve had a Pop Tart. I think the reason is because whenever a box of them is in my house, it doesn’t last more than a day or two. Pop Tarts are easily the biggest breakfast scam in the entire world. They’ve got just as much sugar and fat as cookies because let’s face, they ARE cookies. Still though, once those bad boys come out of the oven I’m ready to pounce. But if there’s one thing I can say about my Pop Tarts eating experience, it’s that rarely if ever am I thinking of the designs of the Pop Tarts themselves.
I mean sure I think of potential flavors I might like but as far as the aesthetic? Never. And I certainly don’t imagine what a Pop Tart would look like if it were inspired by a horror movie. Luckily for me and you there are artists out there who do this kind of stuff. Artist Newt Cloninger-Clements designed this fun series of horror movie inspired Pop-Tarts for our enjoyment.
Honestly I can’t tell if I’m more hungry or disgusted when I look at these. Then again, it’d be pretty fun to have your own Walking Dead Pop Tarts.
