University of Iowa’s coach Fran McCaffery has a reputation for having a temper. I think that’s putting it extremely mildly but I’m sticking with it. This year he’s got reason to be annoyed. While I’m pretty sure his number one beef in life is the fact that his name is Fran, Iowa not being in the NCAA Tourney has got to be causing him some angst. But alas his team is in the NIT and they cruised to a victory against South Dakota last night. However, not without a quintessential Fran McCaffery moment.
Nicely done by the fellas at Barstool to get this tiny 4 second clip that pretty much made my day. I’m working on getting some stuff from the NCAA tournament but so far this is far and away the best “March Madness” clip of the day (even though it happened last night).
My own child doesn’t behave like this. Again, this man’s name is Fran and he’s stomping the yard quite hard here. Don’t forget that Fran is a good coach but this guy’s temperature is always in the red. If you’re ever in a bad mood, just know this guy is way more angry than you at all times.
