Cole Sprouse Reveals How Tough it Was Working with Jennifer Aniston on ‘Friends’

If you were a Disney Channel kid growing up, you know that Cole Sprouse, aka Cody from The Suite Life of  Zack and Cody, started out his career as a young child actor on Friends, playing Ross Geller’s son, Ben.   You’d also know that even before that he and his twin brother Dylan were also stars of the movie Big Daddy with Adam Sandler.   What you might not know is that it turns out Cody had a very difficult time working on Friends with one of the show’s biggest stars, Jennifer Aniston.   However, it’s for a much cuter reason than you might think.

“I had a really, really hard time working with Aniston because I was so in love with her,” he explained. “I was infatuated. I was speechless – I’d get all bubbly and forget my lines and completely blank. It was so difficult.”

Awwww.  Isn’t that cute?  Sprouse is currently on the show Riverdale where he plays Jughead Jones.   It’s hard to believe this kid’s 25 years old now.  I remember it like it was yesterday when he was assuring Adam Sandler how he wipes his tushy and pissed on the sides of buildings.  He and his brother were adorable in that movie.

Just in case you forgot, here’s a clip:
