You guys know how I feel about movie reboots. If we’re going by my gut feeling of reboots do you think I’d ever allow a reboot of ANY Star Wars movie, ever? Absolutely not. What I like about each and every Star Wars film is that it’s a original. Yeah we had a tiny bit of CGI added the to the old ones, but the movies themselves weren’t completely redone, they were simply enhanced. However, I will say this.
I never said that movie trailers couldn’t be redone. Do whatever the hell you want with trailers, which is exactly what someone did with Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back. Youtuber Tom F. used some footage from The Empire Strikes Back and created a modern trailer for the movie, and I have to say, it’ll make you me feel like watching the movie all over again despite having probably seen it more times than you can count.
I’ll just say this is a slight step up from the old 80s trailer. Maybe if the youth of today got trailers like this for 80s movies they should be seeing they might appreciate them more? Eh, I think that’s a stretch but this modern trailer still rocks.
