Last night the UNC Tarheels took down the Duke Blue Devils in a 90-83 victory in what could be considered a tune up for the tournament. But rather than get into the game itself I’d like to point out the most entertaining and confusing part of the entire evening. While it’s not confusing at all that Michael Jordan, an alumni of UNC and legend of the school would be in attendance, what he said when he came onto the court at halftime was a bit puzzling.
Look, Michael Jordan couldn’t look stupid if he walked out onto the court naked with jelly all over himself, but you still have to question what this guy meant when he said “The Ceiling is the Roof.” Like, what does that mean? Was he trying to say “the sky’s the limit” but in a different fashion?
Isn’t the ceiling or roof a low bar to set? What are the players supposed to think about this? What about that dude on the right side of the photo? Pretty sure he had no idea what was going on either. Check out the clip below but more importantly the appropriate Michael Jordan response to his own line below that.

I think that if Michael Jordan saw himself saying this, this GIF would probably pop into his head.
