I’m going to add a new segment to this website. When I come across a song that pumps me up I’m going to post it here for all of you to see. Although these songs will likely come with a twist. Most if not all will come from movies, television and video games. Chances are more than likely these will be cheesy songs but what’s the difference? If you have headphones or ear pods on, no one is going to hear it anyway. That’s one of the things I love about going to the gym. I’ll be sitting there listening to “You’re the Best Around” from Karate Kid getting all pumped up and no one has a clue what I’m listening to.
Other times it might very well be George Michael’s “Careless Whisper” as I’m cooling down. You just never know. So to start us off I’m going with tune #1 from the classic NES game Rad Racer. This is one of the finest racing games in the history of Nintendo and once you hear this song you will not only get nostalgic and want to play this game but this song will probably not leave your head for at least a week. Play it at your own risk but I will say that your adrenaline levels will be off the charts.
