The career of Jeff Probst has been a pretty long one that dates all the back to 1991. As far as shows you might know him for, Access Hollywood was something he worked on back as far as 1996. However the executive producer and famous TV host’s career completely changed when he become host of the hit NBC reality show Survivor. The show is now in its 34th official season and new episodes are currently airing. It’s hard to believe the show has been around since the year 2000.
From the 2000—01 through the 2005—06 television seasons, its first eleven seasons (competitions) rated among the top ten most watched shows. It is commonly considered the leader of American reality TV because it was the first highly rated and profitable reality show on broadcast television in the U.S., and is considered one of the best shows of the 2000s.
With a new season underway, Probst paid a visit to The Tonight Show but he was in for a surprise he wasn’t expecting. Jimmy Fallon shocks Jeff Probst with an excerpt from the embarrassing demo reel he sent to Mark Burnett to audition for Survivor host. It dates back to 1999.
