If you’re not a fan of soccer than I just found you a reason to be one. If you’re already a fan of soccer then I just found you your favorite player of all-time. During an actual professional soccer game that took place yesterday, the back-up goalie for Sutton headed over to the bar at halftime, took some pictures with fans, then returned to the field to enjoy the food he just bought. He also has the nickname “Roly Poly Goalie.”
When you get down to it, baseball players are eating seeds and chewing gum all the time in the dugout. You have to figure that bench guys in soccer should get to do the same thing. But this particular case is just awesome. If Wayne Shaw isn’t friends with John Daly by now he most certainly should be.
