We’re all looking forward to the 3 point content and the dunk contest tonight but so far the most childish, humorous and kind of pathetic story out of NBA All-Star weekend is the awkwardness between Russell Westbrook and Kevin Durant. I mean, really guys? Who cares? Seriously, just stop caring already. Russell Westbrook goes out of his way to make it seem that he doesn’t care about what anyone does and he let’s his basketball do the talking. I love Westbrook as a player but I’m just not buying it as a man.
Is it really worth it to hold a grudge this long? Your teammate left. Get over it man! He left to win. No matter where he went he was going to make millions and so will you. It’s not Durant’s fault you have zero chance at a championship. When it’s time for you to be a free agent you can sign anywhere you want.
When all is said and done, if Durant gets his championships you’re going to be even more salty. Just enjoy the All-Star game, shake Kevin’s hand and have fun will ya? Oh and by the way, please for the love of God Steve Kerr, put Westbrook out there with your four warriors. That I would pay to see.
