Sometimes the best things in life are the simplest. It doesn’t take a ton of artistic or technical ability to make a mash up like this. It just takes the thought of doing it. A new Beauty and the Beast and Harry Potter mash up video just came out and I personally think it’s brilliant. In this mashup of ‘Beauty and the Beast’ and ‘Harry Potter’, Voldemort as the beast, and Belle is a witch. Gaston is, of course, a brave and proud Gryffindor.
This just works on so many levels. First off, Emma Watson. Could this have been any more fitting? After all these years of getting out of the Harry Potter stereotype she’s sucked right back in here. Second of all, it just works, period. Some things don’t always need an explanation. This video is one of these things. If you’re looking for a little Harry Potter break in your day, this is the way to take it.
