It’s tough to choose a late night host when you’ve got Stephen Colbert, Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, and Conan O’Brien all talking at the same time. For the first time in history I think you have four legitimate guys who are all funny in their own ways. There’s not one host out there that I don’t like. But let’s put the focus on Jimmy Kimmel who’s “bits” I believe are way up there. One of the show’s best creations by far has been when famous people read mean tweets of themselves out loud.
On tonight’s Jimmy Kimmel show we’re going to get to watch NFL players read mean tweets about themselves. The show has released a teaser clip that features stars JJ Watt, Russel Wilson, and Tony Romo. It’s pretty funny to watch some of the toughest guys in the world take this kind of abuse from measly little fans who are hiding being their computers.
And believe me, it’s pretty hard not to laugh when you see JJ Watt get kind of serious. Romo’s comment is perfect in my opinion. Russel Wilson’s is just flat out mean but his reaction is pretty awesome. Too bad none of these guys made the Superbowl this year. I wonder if the full version of this segment will feature some nasty Super Bowl disses. Here’s hoping that Aaron Rodgers is one of the guests.
