Megyn Kelly Calls Out Kellyanne Conway’s Claim That Trump Isn’t Sexist

Mark this down as exhibit 1 million of the “what in the name is going in with this election?” sweepstakes.  The Kelly File ratings have basically been on fire ever since Megyn Kelly got into her unforgettable spat with Donald Trump back during the Republican primaries.   It seems that nearly every single evening the show airs, Kelly is doing her best to call out any politician or someone involved in politics on anything she deems completely untruthful.

Kelly wasted no time last night as her guest was none other than Donald Trump’s campaign manager Kellyanne Conway.  While the interview started off cordial, when it came time to discuss sexist remarks that Trump has made in the past, Kelly asserted herself and effectively called out Conway for saying that Trump “rarely makes sexist remarks.”

What’s surprising and even more interesting is the fact that Kelly didn’t even attempt to steer Conway into the conversation.  Conway was taking aim at Clinton because “she tried to rough him up over a couple of comments he’s made over 25 years or so with respect to women.” Then Conway complained about how it’s “not nice” that Clinton is running negative ads featuring Trump’s misogynistic comments.

Kelly then gave her quintessential look of “are you serious?”: “Kellyanne, come on … it’s not nice? They are running for president. Of course she’s going to hit him with negative ads.” And Kelly zeroed in on Conway’s claim that Trump’s sexist comments were few and far between. “You know that’s not true. You know he has repeatedly made comments about women – about their looks, about their size.” Conway continued her denial-filled stance, and Kelly firmly stated, “She’s killing him with women.”

Kelly then went into the “Miss Piggy” stuff and you can probably guess how it played out but it’s all very entertaining.  Here’s the “discussion” below.
