Kristen Bell was on Jimmy Kimmel Live last night to promote her new film, The Boss, which also stars Melissa McCarthy and hits theaters on April 8. However, Bell and Kimmel’s conversation quickly shifted from McCarthy to another one of the actress’ costars in the film, Game of Thrones star Peter Dinklage, and while Bell expressed how much she loves his character, Tyrion Lannister, on the HBO drama, she also discussed how wonderful it was to get to know Dinklage as an actual person.
“Peter’s my favorite because, first of all, he is like charisma personified,” Bell said. “Because he had everyone on our set eating out of his hand. He’s always sitting on set like vaguely listening to us chatter and doing the New York Times crossword puzzle. And not the Monday one, like the Sunday one. He’s hyper-intelligent, and he’ll throw out a witty comment every now and then.”
However, there was one thing that Dinklage was not dishing out on the set of The Boss, and that was Game of Thrones spoilers. No matter how much Kristen Bell and Melissa McCarthy asked, Dinklage wouldn’t reveal a thing.
“He was always like ‘I should tell–no, I can’t, I can’t,'” Bell said about Dinklage. “He just toyed with us.”
But while Bell still doesn’t know what will happen next with Tyrion in Game of Thrones Season 6, that didn’t stop her from creating her own type of “stories” with a Tyrion action figure and Anna from Frozen doll while on the set of The Boss. As Kimmel shows in the video below, the pictures of the two characters together are pretty hilarious and even a little explicit.
Speaking of Frozen, while there are probably millions of little girls around the world with Anna or Elsa dolls, Bell’s daughter won’t be one of them. As she told Kimmel last night, when she and her husband, Dax Shepard, put on Frozen for their three year old to see how she would react, they got about 15 minutes into the movie before she asked them to turn it off.
