I Use Hundred Of Strips Of Paper To Create Art

I am a paper artist who loves paper (of course), the written word and meandering outdoors. I passionately doodle on any surface and weave threads. I love the versatility and form that paper has to offer. Being self-taught, I combine my pieces with quilling, kirigami, and modular origami. I cut and fold the paper in my own way into the artwork with certain themes that are close to me.

These intricate pieces can take from a day up to six months to make. They are made from archival, acid-free paper that I hand-cut at various lengths and widths. In the end, the shapes come alive as a paper sculpture with depth and beautiful dimensionality.

These works are currently in an Exhibition called ‘Fluorescence, a period of bloom’ in Sacramento.
