I Explore Abandoned Buildings At Night And Then Paint

My name is Dereck Seltzer. I am 33, I live alone in Detroit and I work as a driver during the day. I have insomnia. At night I explore and scavenge materials from the abandoned buildings in the city, which I then paint. The pieces I have attached are based on the images I see when I close my eyes, swirling portals and door ways to a place I can never quite seem to reach.
