Young and the Restless fans have spent a few years watching as Chelsea went from a total bad girl to a total softie after the death of her husband. There was a time when she would do anything that would get he what she wants in life without worrying about how it looked or how it made anyone else feel. She would not hesitate to take someone down, to lie, cheat, or steal to get what she wanted. Yet here she is a few years later as meek and innocent as possible.
Except she is not. She’s been lying to everyone behind the scenes for some time, and it’s not something we knew about because it wasn’t written in until just now. And now she’s got more to her story than we knew, and we are excited to see her get some playtime in her life. She’s been working so hard on being whomever people want her to be, and we didn’t like it.
Now she’s a liar, a thief, and a cheat once again, and we like it. She’s going to spend the day making a promise to Nick that she’s doing all the right things and making all the good choices in life, but she’s a liar. She’s not doing anything of the sort. She’s still lying, and the vow she’s going to make to him today is a lie, too. Now that she’s going to make this promise, she’s going to do this thing, and it’s all going to make some sense.
