Young and the Restless fans now know there is an answer about Adam Newman. We’ve been speculating for weeks that he’d return this summer with a vengeance, but we were incorrect. He will not return from the ‘dead’ this summer. He’s going to make his big return this fall during fall sweeps. That means he’s coming back for ratings, and he’s not going to stop there. He’s got a score to settle, and we think that score might begin with his own father. While we don’t know what he knows about what happened to him, he’s not stupid. He knows he was set up and sent to prison for something he didn’t do; and we suspect he knows by now who might have been involved in that. He’s been hiding out for months now, and that means he’s been doing his homework and his research.
What this means is he’s coming back with his own sense of justice to serve, and it might not be just on Chloe for setting him up to die in that cabin that fateful September day last year. He’s got to have it out for his father by now. He must know his father had everything to do with this, and we suspect he’s been working on this for a while. All we know now is that he is here to stay, but he won’t be back until the fall. Will he take Chelsea back? Does he already know she’s moved on from him with his brother?
Are these things he’s been keeping up with since he left to hide out after everything thought he died in that explosion? Has he been keeping things to himself, doing his homework, and keeping up with the people he loves the most? If he is, he cannot be happy with the fact that his wife has moved on with his brother for so many reasons. We suspect that rumors he will divorce his wife upon his return are true, and there is nothing we can do but wait at this point. We will learn soon enough what might happen between these couples, this family, and these brothers.
