Young and the Restless fans know that Cane is not happy with Lily, but we all know that he will do anything to get her back. Right now he is mad at her because he feels that all that’s going on in his life is her fault. He does feel that she’s got more to do with the way his own life is going than he does himself, and that’s not a good thing. She’s not someone he should be mad at right now. He’s the one who messed up in so many ways. He lied at work, at home, got another woman pregnant, and so many things he did are now in question.
And he’s mad at his wife because she won’t forgive him of all these things. He might also be mad at her because she is now taking over the job he was fired from at Victoria’s company. He feels she is betraying him by doing that and accepting the job.
She feels, however, that he is the one who did the betraying and that she’s done nothing wrong. He did, after all, manage to ruin their lives by getting another woman pregnant, embarrassing their family, losing his job, lying to and about his employer, and getting himself in this situation. She is no longer very sympathetic to him, and we can’t blame her for that. She’s too busy and too much of a strong woman to worry about how he feels right now. She’s looking out for herself.
