Young and the Restless fans aren’t sure what Adam is up to. Seeing him so concerned about his own influence on little Connor is a situation we cannot figure out. He’s Adam. He has never, ever, in his entire life cared about anything other than himself, so why is he suddenly so worried about this child and the effect he is having on his life? It’s not really his style, and we all know this. We all know that there is nothing that will make this right, and we all know that there is nothing that will change the game here more than it already has been changed. We are shocked by most of this, but we also get it. He’s worried, and we do hope that this is the moment when he finally decides to change himself and his life and do the right thing. We aren’t sure he will, but he’s at least a little bit on that path.
Then there is Phyllis. She’s not happy with Abby at the moment, and it’s not getting any better for them. They are going to continue to have it out, and we know that they will never see the same things on the same page. They are a horrible mess when it comes to one another, and that’s a situation we cannot agree with more. They have to focus on something that’s a bit more productive, but we don’t see that happening. We are not going to see anything get any better than it is, but we can agree that there may be a way we can get them to get over this. Is there a way that they can agree to work together instead of against one another? We think they need some compromise.

The end of the week is going to bring us a few more things that we did not see coming. We did not, for example, see that there would be a moment when Amanda wasn’t on Devon’s mind — and we were actually right about that. He will spend the entire day thinking of her nonstop, which is not unlike any other day lately. He’s got her on his mind, and we get it. She looks just like his dead wife, and he’s not over her. How could he be when they lost their unborn baby and got married and he lost her in a matter of only a few days last year? It’s been a horrible situation, and it’s not something we think he can easily forget. But, he still cannot stop thinking of this woman who is not Elena, and we know that this is why they are having so many problems.
Meanwhile, we also know that there is more to this than meets the eye. We know that they have to focus on other things, too. Like the fact that her presence only serves to haunt him in the most magnificent ways. She is there to make him miserable, and he cannot make it stop. Before the weekend arrives, we will also see Chance. He has a proposition for someone around here, and he is going to do all he can to see if he can make it work and make it last for himself. He’s a man who has to do something in this life to make things feel better than they are, and he will offer this proposition to someone.
