Young and the Restless fans are not surprised that the week began with such a bang, and we are not going to be surprised to see it continue on the same page. For one, we all know that there is a lot happening with Rey. He’s been there for Sharon for a few weeks now, and they are too close for Nick to appreciate. He’s going to tell someone he knows more about Rey than he does, and he’s hoping this will scare the man off. It will not, but Rey is here to fight. Nick will not back down at this point, either, and that’s all right. They have to sit back, deal with this, and let it go. Nikki, on the other hand, is faced with a big choice. She’s got to make this decision so that it benefits her and everyone else in her life. She’s not in a place where she can afford to sit back and allow anyone else to let her go through life without making the right choices anymore.
One the other hand, there is nothing about the Abbotts that will ever be the same again. The information that was given on Friday was shocking, and there is nothing that will ever be the same. Ashley has been harboring a horrible, dirty, dark secret, and it’s been very ugly. She’s known her brother is an Abbott this entire time, and she’s kept that from him. It’s been very ugly, and now everyone wants answers from her. Jack will never feel the same for her again as he did in the past. Abby will not be happy with her mother, and Ashley will find out that her family is not too happy with her secrets at all — which might just be the beginning of her end.

Abby is going to confront her mother. She’s appalled by all of this, and she’s not entirely sure what she should do and how she should do it. She’s not sure that she can get over the lies and the hurt that’s been caused by her, and this will not end well. Abby and Ash have had more than their fair share of disagreements and fights, but this one is going to take the cake in every manner possible. There is little they can do at this point to help their situation get any better, and we think that they will fight this out to the end. They won’t make this one work for them anytime in the near future. We think that they are done with that, and we think that they are not coming back from this one.
But there is more to this. Jack is also going to want to know what was happening, why this is going on, and what she meant by this. It’s ugly, and this family is never going to be the same. Billy will return, too, to find that there is nothing short of complete chaos in the family. Can he handle what is going on, or will he need to take some time to himself to make it work for him? He’s not going to have much else to offer anyone and their lives, but he can work with anyone he might want to work with to get his position back. Ash will be out soon, after all.
