Young and the Restless fans are currently all over the place with all that is happening in Genoa City. We aren’t at all sure we can even keep up at this point, and that’s hard on all of us. There are people leaving, people showing up without much else to do or say in their lives other than that things are what they are, and people making decisions that were not even clearly on their radar a week ago. It’s all kinds of upsetting for more than one person, and we don’t know how we feel about that. We are confused about things, we are not sure how we like to see all this happening, and we are not sure we are going to be good with any of it. And that’s not all. We all have things we want to say and do, but there’s too much going on.
Right now, we are focused on Abby and her feelings. She’s confused about the way things are going for her and Arturo, and she’s not sure she can get past what is going on in his life. She’s working on it, and he’s begging her to make this work, but she’s not convinced. Sharon and Phyllis are at odds again in a time when they really need to just be on the same time. Sharon has learned that Phyllis has moved in with Nick and that they are officially official, and she is not all that amused by that. Remember, Sharon was marrying Nick just a few weeks ago and it was their actual wedding day, so this is not something she finds all that amazing. And then there is Victoria, who is so panicked she’s issuing threats of her own. And Jack is going to speed things up with Kerry, and that’s interesting.

So there is nothing that we can do other than hope that everyone had a very happy holiday, and we can thank the stars of this show for wishing us a happy holiday in this manner. It’s good for us to see them happy to have us watching. We love it.

Nikki has to do something to get her situation with Victor in a good place. She knows she is going to need him and that things will only work better for her if she does need him if she is already on his good side again, so she is going out of her way to connect with him and make things right. And then there is Cane, who is very worried for his brother-in-law. Devon seems to be going through even more serious emotions now that he was in the past, and that’s not good. He’s changing, and it’s not in a way that seems to be a good one. That’s bad news all the way around, but there is not much else he can do to see things improve in his life. But, there is nothing that Cane can really do for him, either.
But there is something Mariah can do, and it’s end things with Tessa. We all know that she’s not good for Mariah, and we’ve been saying that for months. We don’t like her or anything she has to bring to the table. She’s not in a good place, and we get that. We understand that things aren’t working out for them, and that’s what it is for them. There is too much going on for them to worry about any of this, but they are going to need to deal before much longer. It’s going to be ugly, but we think she just needs to end this mess she’s in.
