Wonder Woman has already topped $300 million at the box office and it’s still pulling in impressive sales. It’s gotten about the highest marks a movie can get. Patty Jenkins is being praised for directing a great film that has essentially saved the DCEU from producing another “bomb” at the box office. Gal Gadot is effectively going to be the most powerful and iconic female symbol for the foreseeable future. At this point there’s essentially no wrong that Wonder Woman can do and save for some kind of incredibly huge mess up, we can expect Wonder Woman to be a massive part of superhero cinema.
So what comes next for Wonder Woman? Well, we’ll all be speculating on a sequel but in the meantime let the analysis and constant conversation continue. One of my favorite results of an incredibly popular movie is always the parody that follows. Whether it’s fan art, fan made movies, or just articles written on the film, it’s always a great chance to see the movie positioned in a multitude of formats and vantage point.
