Let’s face it, it’s not like anybody thinks that Chip and JoJo are going to be sitting at home watching the grass grow when their hit show, Fixer Upper, comes to an end. Sure, viewers are sad but, hey, there are always re-runs and lots of them. HGTV’s most popular couple has a lot of irons in the fire, not to mention a gaggle of adorable kids at home on Magnolia Farm and a herd of critters to boot.
Hearth & Hand
And, then there’s their long-awaited Target line of decorating products. It’s called Hearth & Hand and it goes on sale Nov. 5th. So, all you Fixer Upper fans are going to finally have the opportunity to purchase all of your fave items online and at some pretty reasonable prices, too. So, basically, every one of us who has been dreaming of having JoJo decorate our homes will get pretty close to it! Yea! And, just in time for the holidays, too. It’s going to be featuring more than 300 items of modern farmhouse chic decor in the new Magnolia line for Target.
Every single item has been specially designed to suit everyday life, from vintage and classic to modern and industrial, this collection will have it all. There are even quite a few design twists made especially for the holiday season along with the many organic finishes that we all know and love from Fixer Upper. Oh, those reasonable prices that we mentioned? Well, they’re mostly $30 or less. The collection will be featuring, not only holiday decor, but also PJs for the entire family, toys, flatware, and even pet accessories. All in all, it sounds like a lot of fun and we can’t wait to see every bit of it.
And, Baby Makes Seven?
Then there are the baby rumors. For months now, there’s been all kinds of talk about whether Chip and JoJo are going to add another little one to their flock. So far, there’s been no confirmation of that, however, JoJo has admitted that she’s really all for another Gaines bambino but Chip, well not so much. Apparently, he keeps shooting down the idea every chance he gets. I’m guessing that the Gaines kids would be just as excited about a new baby in the house as they are every time Chip brings home a new puppy,…or kitten,…or goat,…. or calf,… or horse. Hey, that Gaines farm must already be a pretty exciting place, so why not add a new baby to the mix, especially when the four they already have are so darn cute! They’re rumored to be one of the main reasons why they quit the show. They definitely want to spend more time with their kids.
The Silos
Another thing that keeps the Gaines really busy is the Silos. Chip surprised JoJo by buying the old silos in their hometown because she said she liked them. They then turned the place into a trendy shopping center complete with restaurants, and shops, etc. JoJo even has her own bakery in the Silos, as well as a well-appointed antique store.
So, the Gaines definitely aren’t lacking for things to do to keep themselves busy. We wish them all the best in everything they do and will surely miss them when we turn on HGTV and they’re not there anymore, well,…again, there are those re-runs!
